Shipping Information

We will try our best to get orders out the same day that are made before 3 P.M. EST. Orders are typically shipped within 24 to 48 hours with the exception of Holidays and Sales that may affect that time frame. Next Day is the next business day, if done on a Friday, the next business day would be a Monday. No orders are shipped on weekends or major Holidays. Ink may be damaged if exposed to extreme heat or cold.

Tommy’s Supplies is not responsible for any delays in shipping due to natural disasters, Holidays, or any other unforeseen events. We do not control delivery times for any shipping services. We can certainly make a notation on your package to deliver at certain times, but no service is obligated to follow such requests. If you own a business, please make sure that your business hours are posted. That is the only thing UPS drivers are obligated to follow. USPS drivers are bound by neither special requests or posted hours.

Domestic Orders

Orders shipping within the United States will ship UPS Ground unless otherwise specified by the customer. UPS does not ship or deliver packages on weekends. UPS can ship on Saturday only if the Next Day Saturday or 2nd Day Saturday shipping option is selected. UPS Ground does not ship to P.O. Boxes, if you would like to ship to a P.O. Box, you must use the UPS Surepost shipping option. All orders are shipped out of our Somers, CT location. Ground shipment options on the East Coast are 1-3 business days and up to 7 business days for West Coast addresses.

Please note that Ground shipping option is not an expedited shipping option compared to the Free Shipping promo. We suggest choosing from the expedited shipping options if you need your items before a specific date. 

International Orders

For international shipments, all duties, fees, licenses, taxes, and adherence to local laws, regulations and customs, and any other such international issues are the sole responsibility of the customer. International orders are shipped either through UPS or USPS for the safest shipping option. Post Office shipments are done at customer risk. Tommy’s Supplies does not take any responsibility for packages shipped through the Post Office. Typical shipping times through UPS are 3-8 business days, depending on location. USPS shipping can be around 10-14 business days.

Returned Shipments

Customers are responsible for Return to Sender fees, Re-Delivery fees, and any additional charges in case(s) of missed delivery, re-delivery, refused packages, or rejected at customs.

We are not responsible for any shipping costs incurred through the Return to Sender process if the shipping address is input incorrectly by customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm the billing and shipping information are correct when placing an order. This includes apartment, suite, and unit numbers. Customers are responsible for additional charges that may occur due to package interception for address changes.

Winter Shipping

Tommy’s Supplies is not responsible for frozen liquids during shipping. If you live in an area where freezing is a possibility, we recommend you opt for a quicker shipping option such as Next or Second Day Air. Orders may be held for shipment during the winter months when inks are exposed to freezing temperatures to ensure that they arrive safely. For this reason, shipping times during the winter months may vary. You may also notice heat packs included in your package to assist in protecting inks during shipping as well. Please keep track of the shipment and be at your address when the delivery driver arrives to reduce the chance of freezing during transit.
